The Idea

Energy can be saved by switching over to fluorescent light bulbs. A community can make all the difference. Green Walk 2012 will mobilize young people on Earth Day to travel door to door in their communities, handing out free energy efficient bulbs for every old incandescent bulb collected.

The Specifics

The $500 grant would go toward purchasing a bulk amount of fluorescent bulbs at a discounted rate and advertising for the event with a large sign to be displayed at William Floyd High School.
